Alena Doláková
Alena is best known as Holena in critically acclaimed Czech-Danish box office hit "Tri Bratri" directed by two time Oscar winner Jan Sverak with whom she worked again on the movie "Betlemske Svetlo".
In her latest movie Mirrors In the Dark (2021) that opened at Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, she portrays the lead role of "Marie", a troubled dancer. In this role, for which she lost 15 pounds, she excelled in three uncut one shot scenes that last 15 minutes and danced in all her scenes.
A former dancer, Alena gained MA at prestigious drama school JAMU and played about 20 leading parts in theaters in Europe and the US and was part of more than 30 film and TV projects, such as Knightfall (HBO), Whiskey Cavalier (ABC), Haunted (Netflix) or Blood Red Sky (Netflix).
Miss Dolakova is also a published author (Anna from Hollywood, Albatros) and owner and founder ANNA Entertainment that aims to introduce funny, strong and authentic female characters in Eastern Europe.
