Cynthia Guzmán
Cynthia Guzman was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. While attending school she showed interest in dancing, painting and sewing. After finishing high school, she moved to Milan, Italy where she studied and worked as a P.R fashion and art. While attending galleries and meeting artists she decided to pursue her true passion: acting. She moved back to her hometown and began studying with legendary acting teacher and actress Maria Castillo at the National Theatre. Cynthia made her acting debut in 'Techos Rotos' by Yanillys Perez which premiered in the Cannes Short Film Corner in 2014. She appeared along side Christian Meier in 'Todos Los Hombres son Iguales'. She made her stage debut playing Elizabeth Proctor in the Crucible at Casa Ed Teatro in Santo Domingo. Her latest projects include Nickelodeon's Are you Afraid of the Dark?' And Hulu's Saint X.
