Judy Stepanian
Born in a factory town in Michigan. Her Dad was a World War II Vet and worked at the auto plant. Her Mom was an RN at the local hospital. Judy had a sister 7 years older and a brother 4 years older. She was the baby. Judy graduated high school in 1975 and Art and Drama were her favorite classes. Judy was Homecoming Queen in her senior year. Judy's class motto at Pontiac Central HS was, " We are hip, we don't jive. We're the class of 75." Judy earned a Bachelors degree in Special Education and then a Masters in Counseling at EMU. She taught and counseled for close to twenty years. Judy was married at age 33 and adopted two small boys who were full brothers. They grew up to be fine, young men who majored in business in college. Judy got back into acting in about 2008 when Michigan had a great film incentive. She started as an extra and wanted more. She has taken acting classes for the past 10 years. Judy recently took Masters Acting and Voiceover at Goteri Creative Arts. She started out getting roles in student and independent films and was lucky enough to be in two SAG features filmed in Detroit. Working with Gerard Butler in Machine Gun Preacher was an awesome experience for her. Michigan lost the film incentive and most of the big money films left town. Judy currently has two shorts and one feature in post production and is filming a feature about the legend of the Nain Rouge in Detroit, playing the town busybody. Judy loves every character she's played. Her dream is to meet Kathy Bates. She hopes to get to act for many more years. She is signed with three agencies and has done commercials, voiceovers and music videos as well as films.
