Keavong Alson Men
Keavong Alson Men is a Cambodian-Australian actor, singer, and writer. He was born in New Zealand and migrated when he was 4 years old to reside in Brisbane, Australia.
He attended Woodridge State High School, and was deeply interested in drama that he attended Griffith University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Contemporary and Applied Theatre.
In his senior year of high school, he was involved in an after-school drama program called Traction that was run by Queensland Theatre with lead artist Claire Christian.
From the program, he continued to work with Claire Christian and be a member of 'The Mamas Boys'. A hip hop theatre making collective.
The group have gone to record original music, have a special episode on ABC iview and a season of their play "Brother's Book Club" at The Kingston Butter Factory Cultural Precinct.
