Roy Hin Yeung Chow
Chow Hin Yeung, Roy, a renowned film director, screenwriter, and producer. The "Best New Director" from the 32th Hong Kong Film Awards. He is considered as the most innovative, stylized, and acclaimed new generation of film directors in Hong Kong / China. He graduated from the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Art with First Class Honor degree in the Film Directing.
In the year of 2000, while Roy was still in university, he started to work for Bill Kong's Edko Films, which produced blockbuster films like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Hero. He spent many years tightly collaborating with the respected Academy Award winner Bill Kong, mainly on script development. He also worked as a personal assistant and researcher for the Oscar-winning and Golden Globes winning director, Ang Lee.
