Tymaine Clay
Tymaine Clay is an award-winning writer, producer, and director. Born in Queens, New York, he got his start working for Chris Rock and fell in love with independent filmmaking when he was personally invited to work with Ali LeRoi and Wanda Sykes on a project. As a person starting out, he broke many lights throughout his career. So, when he had an opportunity to form his own production company, he just had to name it Break-A-Light Entertainment. Now instead of breaking lights, he now breaks stories: the latest one, a horror feature titled "When the Fever Breaks," won for best thriller at the New York International Film Awards and best horror at the Golden State Film Festival in 2020. The movie can be found on Amazon Prime, Tubi, and YouTube Movies with over half a million views on YouTube alone within a few short months. He is working on his next horror feature titled "Between the Cracks," which is slated to begin production in 2022.
