His essay, 'REBEL WITH A CAUSE: A PERSONAL JOURNEY FROM SUFISM TO ISLAMISM AND BEYOND', was published in the United States by Palgrave Macmillan in the book, 'THE OTHER MUSLIMS: MODERATE AND SECULAR'. His follow-up play for the Theatre Royal Stratford East, 'THE GREAT EXTENSION', proved to be an equal success and was also published by Oberon books as well as, once again, being Time Out Magazine's Theatre Critics' Choice.
