Widely recognized for her work on the Emmy-winning, late night sketch comedy series MADtv MADtv (1995) Daniele grew up doing theater in Minneapolis. She earned her SAG card shooting a commercial at Paisley Park. Years later she would be called on stage to dance with Prince during two concert tours, bringing the Minneapolis connection full circle. While an undergraduate at Northwestern University she landed a spot in The Mee-Ow Show, the premiere sketch comedy and improv group on campus. Daniele Denise Lawson (Dani) is an American actress born December 31, 2004 to Daniel R. Lawson Jr. and Michele Lawson. The youngest of 6 siblings. Daniele was born in Inglewood, CA and grew up in Culver City, CA. She knew early on that she wanted a career in the arts. Daniele started dancing at the early age of 2. Dancing with many dance companies such as Fantasia Dance Ensemble, Victory Praise Dancers and Faithful Dance Company. At 6 years old Daniele danced in the Just Dance Kids 2 video game. Daniele booked her first national commercial at 4 years old (Toyota). She signed with Youth Talent Connection (Agent) at 5 years old, where she went on to book many more national commercials such as AT&T, Well Fargo Bank, Ford, Honda, Toyota, Comcast Xfinity, Sprite and more. Daniele has had extensive training throughout her career. She has studied voice for years with Lydia "Mama" Mouton. She participated in the Impact Performing Arts Conservatory from age 6 to 13, where she took dance (ballet, jazz, modern, praise and tap) also acting classes, vocal lessons and media. Daniele loves theater and during her years at Impact she played many roles, Dorothia (Dorothy from the Wiz), Miss Hannigan from Andy (Annie), Zazu (Lion King) and Iago from Aladdin.
