His second book is Iceland in World War II - A blessed war about Iceland's role in World War II. Also a lecturer with the University of Iceland re-education department. His contribution to movies was to assist in the miniature wargaming hobby of the main character in Fúsi. The models provided we Jökull's and the battles were based on historical counterparts.
Gisli Gardarsson, born in Iceland but grew up in Norway where he started his acting career. He is now more or less based in the UK.
