Michelle León was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela to a Venezuelan father and an American mother. She was educated at a private bilingual Spanish/English school where she caught the acting bug and appeared in many productions before moving to the United States and continuing her studies in theatre at the Virginia Commonwealth University. At 18, she began touring with the Richmond Shakespeare Festival as Hero in Much Ado About Nothing and has been working professionally ever since. Michelle now resides in Los Angeles, California and is known for her work in Star Trek (2015), Mr. Pickles (2014), The Program (SSR-7) (2013), Love (2012) and 2 Hopeful Spinsters (2013).

Michelle Liu Coughlin was born in Plainfield, Connecticut, to Mei Coughlin (waitress/high stakes blackjack dealer) and Arthur Coughlin (home builder). She is the youngest of two children. Michelle Loucadoux began her acting career at age 3 in Biloxi, Mississippi, as a dancing poodle. She is the only daughter of Kay and Dan Loucadoux of Hickory, North Carolina and now resides mainly in New York with a second residence in Los Angeles.
